Before your first quote
How is material cost calculated?
For tonne-based materials, FabFlow uses sheet size, thickness and material density to calculate weight, applies the tonne rate, then allocates the percentage of the sheet used by the job. Review the supplied material rates for your purchasing costs.
Can I upload a nesting PDF?
Not yet. Enter the sheet usage and cutting time from your nesting software. FabFlow does not currently read nesting PDFs or estimate machine time.
What happens after three quotes?
Your saved quotes remain available to view and edit. Creating more quotes and downloading customer PDFs requires an active subscription. Editing an existing quote does not use another trial quote.
Which tax rate does the calculator use?
New shops start with 10% GST. Check your own business tax settings before quoting; you can change the rate in Business settings. This is separate from the FabFlow subscription price.
